Biodiesel Facility Opens in Isanti

Back on September 28th our economic development staff attending the grand opening of an amazingly cutting edge business...

Ever Cat Fuels in Isanti produces biodiesel. But they don't use any ordinary way of making the renewable fuel... they patented a revolutionary way of producing it, calling it the "Mcgyan Process".

Through this technology the fuel is made in
seconds, costs about half the price, produces basically no waste and can use almost any animal fat or vegetable oil as a feedstock. That means anything from french fry oil to algae can be used it make the biodiesel! Pretty cool, eh? The Foundation financed a portion of their start up last fall - learn more by reading the news release or visiting Ever Cat's website.

And next week look for more photos of the grand opening on Facebook!
